Nate's grandfather, Verne Norman (Berk's middle name is Norman after him) sent the kids 2 stuffed meerkats & a certificate of adoption of 2 meerkats in their names. Nate & I thought this was such a thoughtful gift. We love the idea and have framed the certificate in Sophia's room. On a side note, on Wednesday (my bday) Grandpa Norman had to have emergency surgery. He is doing well now & we are thankful!
